<\/a>\nWe alternately watched its reflection on the surface of the lake, and through two polarized sunglasses. The eclipse itself was a bit underwhelming from our vantage point, as the sun wasn’t blocked enough for the sky to go dark but was just enough to make the air cold, but being sprawled out in the middle of the morning for our eclipse party was a really fun change of routine.<\/p>\n
<\/a>After the big event was over, we decided to make it a short day and hike another 15 miles to Glacier Lake.
